Alltheweb Introduction
What is All the Web, All the Time?
All the Web, All the Time is the trademark for FAST's Web search engine, www.AlltheWeb.com/. In May 1999, FAST announced with Dell the goal to build the World's Biggest Search Engine. By 2003 the Web is predicted to have over 10 billion pages, and FAST's scalable architecture makes us uniquely positioned to deliver subsecond search response time while keeping up with the Web's explosive growth. The current catalog contains over 600 million full-text documents, with a multibillion catalog planned in the near future. Thus, with AlltheWeb Web Search you will be able to search All the Web, All the Time.
How do I perform a basic search?
To begin a basic AlltheWeb search follow these steps:
Locate the search bar on our front page www.AlltheWeb.com
Type the word or phrase you are looking for into the query box
Click the "Search" button
AlltheWeb will gather all the information related to your search word(s), and arrange it on a Search Results Page. Here you can also find information about hits in different web media indexes, such as pictures and MP3s. From the Search Results Page, it is possible to narrow your search. More on this in the Result Page Help section.
