Louisiana - Opthamlmic aneurysms and FMD

The surgery I had in 1995 was for an opthamlmic aneurysm. It was behind my right eye. I had 2 clips placed to seal it off. They aren't doing surgery on yours? Hope I never have to go through that again.

I had one 7mm aneurysm right behind my right eye. My surgery was done at St. Fancis Hospital in Monroe, La. by Dr. Bermudez in 1995.
The dr told me ahead of time the aneurysm was in the worst possible spot and he may not be able to get to it. If that was the case he would just
have to close me up and apologize. He was able to get to it but took 2 clips to seal it off, then he burst it.
I had no complications at all, just double vision for a couple of months due to swelling of the brain. No problems or complications
but I sure hope I never have to go through it again! Sure you can share
the info.

Take care.
Patsy
