I was diagnoses 4 years ago with fmd fo the carotid (90 % blockage on both sides) I had surgery and am doing well- Yesterday I went for my yearly physical and my doctor heard a bruit in my right femoral artery. I am 56 and this whole ordeal is not good. I thought this thing was over--- Am looking for info -possibly where would I have FMD at this point...Maybe I should forget the whole thing and leave it in Gods hands .. thank you joan rochelle

FMD Study for Heart
I also need to point out that this study has been going on for some years. I last spoke to Dr. Kozman about 3 months ago (Jan. '05) and he was still collecting data. He is not seeing patients, he is just looking for medical history right now. Just the same, call him if you think you can help.
