I haven't posted much but needing your help desperately. I am in
the "process" of a lawsuit. I am 26 and had a stroke. I first went to
a hospital (which we are trying to sue), had all the symptoms. I then
was sent home due to "dehydration", the next day I was rushed to a
nearby hospital, and nearly dies, seriously. My question is: Is there
a good website that explains FMD and the results if NOT treated and
what they can do to test for it? The reason I'm asking is because I
received a letter from my attorney stated they will not be able to
represent me because the doctor noted (which is NOT true), " that you
have a history of FMD, which again is usually a benign condition as
it relates to the risk of stroke(want to know if this is true). The
fact that you had this history (again NOT true) would not cause a
reasonable and prudent physician to do more significant work-up than
was already done(want to know if that's true too, to my knowledge no
testing was EVER done like a CT, MRI, angiogram, etc.) If you can
please help me as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated,
I would like to call this lawfirm tomorrow and fight. Also if anyone
has sues for similar experience with FMD and know of a good lawyer I
can use, their phone number and location would be great. Thank you.
