Jocee's mother, and FMD patient, has passed
Our friend and sister Jocee is mourning the death of her mother who died today, Thursday, April 14, 2005. Her mother suffered from Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD.
Jocee is, and has been, not only a dear friend, but a support beacon for many of us with FMD. A writer, compassionate, proactive person, Jocee has represented her mother's illness as her own on the occasions when she addressed others in FMD sites, newspaper editors, politicians, the medical community, and everyone who would listen on the fight to cure and treat FMD and particularly, her mother.
She is joined by her husband, Steve, and her two sons, Cody and Garett; her sister and other immediate family members are also with her. Both myself and Richard extend our hand and offer our love and support to our dearest friend and at this time of sorrow.
